High School Diploma or equivalent required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLSOrders, stocks and sets up anesthesia equipment in all ORs on a daily basis and between each case.
Verifies functioning and proper layout of equipment and disposable products.
Cleans and sterilizes all anesthesia equipment when necessary.
Attends all required safety training programs.
Follows the hospital exposure control plans.
Coordinates the needs of the anesthesia department.
Assists with technical aspects of preparing patients for general or regional anesthesia.
Assists anesthesia clinicians with intravenous and intra-arterial and other monitoring catheters.
Interfaces with other disciplines, such as anesthesia repair contractors, OR and OB staffs, CRNA and anesthesiologists.
Represents anesthesia department in interdepartmental matters.
Assists in capital equipment preparation in cooperation with the Chief of Anesthesia.
