Summary:
The Project Manager shall be responsible for developing pre- and post- purchase order coordination on large, complex, and high-profile projects for DeShazo.
Working closely with sales, customers and the operations team, a successful candidate will have a full suite of project management tools that will enable us to appropriately ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
Responsibilities shall include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution and pivoting capability, as the project and/or organization requires.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes and diversity.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be preferred but experience and innovative thinking is a true advantage.
Key
Responsibilities:
Coordinating with cross-disciplined team members and ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Agile communication with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
Submitting project deliverables and confirming they adhere to quality standards.
Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
Coordinate and ensure successful completion of customer visits and inspections.
Liaison with customers to provide scheduling updates, vendor and subcontractor delays or issues project progress reports.
Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
Managing customer satisfaction within the various project transitions.
Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Inclination to roll up sleeves and help the team through difficult situations as necessary.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or pertinent experience in a related field.
Proven experience in project management.
Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
Strong MS Office skills.
Budget management experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
