American Video & Alarm American Video & Alarm Alabaster, AL Alabaster, AL Full-time Full-time $23 - $26 an hour $23 - $26 an hour Duties - Coordinate with Field Operations Manager who would be this positions boss and manage all aspects of the logistics process with this person, including procurement, transportation, and equipment movement - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods - Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, evaluating bids, and selecting vendors and qualifying each part with your direct supervisor - Analyze data and conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process and how proper planning with create value in this position - Implement strategies to optimize logistics operations and reduce costs - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities - Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and prepare reports as needed Assistant in completion reports to ensure billing is sent and has been recieved by the clients.
Experience - Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field - Strong knowledge of procurement management and established planning, build a structured enviroment, task driven, self improvement, extremely organized, contract negotiation, and category management - Familiarity with sourcing strategies and materials management - Proficient in logistics scheduling and maneuvering throughout a fast paced enviroment - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and identify areas for improvement - Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams Note:
